Hungarian Parliament

Hungarian Parliament

The Hungarian Parliament is one of the most iconic buildings in Budapest and one of the largest parliament buildings in the world. Built in a neo-Gothic style and located on the banks of the Danube, it dominates the Pest skyline with its impressive dome and intricate façade.

Visitors can admire the building from the riverbank or join a guided tour inside to see the magnificent halls and the Hungarian Crown Jewels. Even if you don’t go inside, the view of Parliament from across the river is one of the most beautiful sights in the city.

Marina's tips
  • For one of the best views of Parliament, walk along the riverbank on the Buda side near Batthyány Square, especially at sunset
